About The Book
There is no denying the fact that when Bin Laden speaks, the people across the world, particularly the Western media, usually ask—Is he really alive? Where is he? What did he say? A curiosity to know more about him yet remains.
The present book aims at catering to this curiosity of the readers. It is an excellent compilation of the key declarations, interviews and speeches of Osama bin Laden. Included are his major pronouncements, beginning with his “Open Letter to King Fahd” (3 August 1995) and a complete translation of his “Sermon for the Feast of the Sacrifice” (16 February 2003). Some translations have been provided by the BBC, PBS, Dawn, and the Middle East Media Research Institute, and others have been independently translated from the original Arabic by native-born Middle Eastern scholars.
